* Coeducational boarding and day school for adolescents with learning disabilities ages 13-18 * 100 students/ 90 residential, 10 day students * Located on 100 acres in the foothills of the Green Mountains and 8 miles from Burlington, Vermontís largest city * Accredited by NEAS&C and approved by the Vermont State Board of Education with diploma granting privileges * 2:1 student to staff ratio * Student applicantís primary diagnosis is learning disability with no significant social/emotional issues * Sense of Community is integral to the program * Separate Academic, Remedial, and Residential staff * Academic staff teaches full Academic program with small structured classes * Remedial staff provides each student with daily 1:1 remedial language tutorial based on Orton-Gillingham * Residential staff develops the social and transition skills of each student * Full Academic program with small classes * Ungraded; Secondary and Postsecondary programs * Adventure Center with ropes course integral part of the program * Focus on developing the whole person * Extensive Extracurricular and Transition activities available * Range of Athletic Team Sports * Minimum two year commitment required to obtain a Pine Ridge School Diploma
