Description:
(more is better)
For more than 20 years, families with a troubled teen have turned to Rocky Mountain Academy. Nestled at the base of the Cabinet Mountains in northern Idaho, we create a safe, nurturing, and supportive environment where our experienced faculty builds formative relationships with students and helps guide their personal and academic growth. Teens enter our academy rebellious and angry and as they progress through the personal-growth and academic curriculum, transform into young adults who understand the consequences of their actions, who are making healthier choices, who are establishing personal values, who are taking on leadership roles, and who are experiencing academic success. RMA Features: Integrated adventure-based experiential learning and personal-growth model Project-based college-preparatory curriculum with real world experiences Opportunities for positive leadership and character building Clinical support and individualized case management Substance abuse education based on 12-Step model Parent education and support programs Upper school transition program for students preparing to enter a college path
