Program Description: Explorations is an imaginative outdoor, travel, and living experience that can be a catalyst for changing the lives of children and teens experiencing trouble at home or in school. Our innovative learning opportunities can motivate these troubled teens to view themselves as capable and successful. Our program has made a difference for many young people. We believe in the innate strength, value, and potential of young people, just as strongly as we believe in the value of family in our society. Explorations is here to help adolescents and young adults discover their inner worth and assist them in the search to find the spirit and energy that spark from them. Over the years, we have witnessed hundreds of young people confront their innermost doubts, embark on journeys of self-exploration, and begin to imagine the things they once thought were beyond their grasp. At Explorations, we measure our success by the number of young people who courageously open the door to a future that makes those ideas a reality.
