Program Description: ABOUT FACE Camp was established in September of 1998 in Conover, North Carolina. Its mission is to instill self-control, self-confidence, and to build self-esteem through a regimented para-military system, which provides the opportunity for the students to develop positive, responsible behavior. It is a privately-owned program for the general public. This camp is Christian oriented and offers attendants an opportunity to grow in that direction should they desire. The success of the camp has been a direct result of its ability to provide a service to the public that does not exist anywhere else.
