Description:
(more is better)
The King George School began with the dream of guiding young people in celebrating creativity, identifying their inner passions and becoming life-long learners who honor and value the human experience. This dream has become a reality as we look toward completing our fifth year as a school where all involved are nurtured and supported, find tolerance for difference and uniqueness, and seek both wisdom and knowledge in pursuit of life. If knowledge is the amassing of information then wisdom is the internalization of life's lessons learned through experience. At the King George School, young people fervently pursue both. The King George student is intelligent, creative, opinionated, sensitive, motivated, yet in need of guidance. Our curriculum is designed to re-kindle their passion for learning and sharing their talents. The King George faculty work diligently with students and families to create an experience to fully integrate the pursuit of academic excellence, artistry, experiential learning, and life lessons. These elements create the total emotional growth experience and a foundation for young adulthood.
